EP110 & EP424 in the Carnarvon Basin have an onshore/offshore area of 3,869 sq. km. Two main leads have been identified: the Baniyas prospect (potential for 105 mmbbls (Pmean) and Up-dip Jasper prospect (possibly 2-10 mm bbls)).
These permits are within 10km of producing oil & gas fields (Roller, Skate, Cowle and Saladin) operated by Chevron Texaco.
160km of 2D seismic have been acquired, in addition to the reprocessed historical seismic data, to detail the Baniyas Prospect.
The drilling of a well in EP424 is required by April 2009.
